For the hardworking don’t-get-out-much married couple or anyone, really, going to a day spa is sure to please you. In fact, you’ll probably never want to leave. For this romantic date idea, time to grab your spouse or significant other and visit a day spa.
Day spas are great for muscle and mental relaxation; they are a pleasant escape from the normal routine. They can be found in most locales, so you should have no problem finding one.
Good day spas aren’t cheap, but they are worth it. So as you can probably tell by now, this date is more on the expensive side.

The really nice spas will have restaurants, massages (of course), saunas, hot tubs, swimming pools, and skin treatments of all types. Basically, enough activities to where you could spend a whole day there.
Some will even have hotel/resort accommodations as well, so you could make your visit a day spa romantic date and turn it into a staycation or weekend trip. Maybe combine it with this romantic getaway weekend date idea for an epic date!
What you need for this visit a day spa romantic date idea:

This romantic date idea will take a little planning. Lookup a few online to find some good ones in your area. Yelp is a handy site for seeing reviews and such. Just type in “Day Spas” and search for one in your area or the area that you want to go.
Also, you’ll need to plan your budget accordingly, and if it’s tight, might want to plan a DIY spa date, instead. Which could also be fun and maybe even more romantic depending on how you plan it.
My commentary on this date idea:
Years ago when I was in college, one of my good buddies, Robert, called me up and wanted me to babysit his 2-week-old baby. Whoa, only two weeks old and they wanted me to babysit for them, they must be doing something really cool.
Since I’m trustworthy and experienced in the ways of babysitting, I said that I would be happy to take care of the little tyke while they were out. Robert took his wife Rebecca to visit a day spa to get massages.

I haven’t had kids or a pregnant wife, but I know how stressful it can be, and how many sleepless nights they probably had. So it is no wonder he wanted to take her somewhere special so they could relax and not worry about the baby.
When they returned home about four hours later, they looked refreshed and ready to continue the raising of their child. Robert told me that I needed to do it sometime. I told him to hurry and hook me up with a girl so I could do that, haha.
So if you are looking for a fun romantic date idea, time to visit a day spa and relax the day away with couple’s massages, saunas, hot tubs, pools, scenery, food, etc. As I am writing this, I feel like going to one right now!
